Exponential Interactive appoints Anshuman Saha, head of sales, India


Senior appointment reflects importance of India as growth market for Exponential

Exponential Interactive, the global provider of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions, today announces the appointment of Anshuman Saha as head of sales, India.

Anshuman will lead the sales operations across Exponential’s audience engagement divisions in India, - Appsnack, AdoTube, Firefly Video and Tribal Fusion and will be responsible for all aspects of strategy, planning and team building. Reporting to Exponential’s US-based founder and CEO Dilip DaSilva, he brings 14 years experience from senior roles at some of India’s leading digital, print and television media brands and will have a particular focus on maximising media revenues from key advertisers and agencies.

DaSilva said: “India is developing into a key market for Exponential’s digital media solutions. We are helping an increasing number of prominent brands across the country make and act upon better-informed marketing decisions.

“Anshuman has deep relationships within the media industry. As our most senior appointment in India, he will bring a new level of expertise, insight and strategic vision to elevate and drive our sales activities across the country, via high-impact, high-engagement campaigns across display, video and mobile.”

Anshuman joins Exponential from Yahoo India where he spent over four years as chief manager for ad sales in auto, telecom, consumer durables and technology verticals for the Mumbai and Delhi regions, driving large format sponsorship, content integration and spearheading innovative, bespoke solutions for a number of big brand advertisers. Prior to this he spent over five years as sales manager at Star TV and also held roles at Sony Entertainment Television and The Times of India. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a post graduate diploma in marketing management.

eMarketer estimates that spending on all measured media in India will rise by a robust 8.0% this year, to $6.21 billion.

Anshuman will be based in Exponential’s Noida office.
