Expansion of regional team comes as 10 new customers sign on in rapidly growing market.
Adap.tv, a division of AOL Platforms and the technology partner for the world’s largest video advertising buyers and sellers, today announced two new hires in its Singapore office to accelerate its rapidly growing operations in Southeast Asia.
Arjan Bolhius and Tom Weaving have both followed Alex Khan, Adap.tv’s Managing Director for Southeast Asia, from Catcha Digital Asia. They share a unique knowledge of video advertising and bring decades of experience building successful digital businesses across global markets.
Mr. Bolhius joins the company as Technical Manager, and said that he was attracted to the company because of its market-leading technologies and its vision as part of AOL Platforms’ ONE by AOL initiative. He added: “We’re unifying delivery technologies and overlaying them with rich data sets to provide precise targeting and behavioural insights that bring benefits to advertising buyers and sellers alike. It’s a compelling offering.”
Mr. Weaving is Adap.tv’s new Regional Sales Account Manager and said that he joined the company because it is a driving force behind the evolution of video advertising. He added: “This space is changing rapidly, and there are very few companies truly at the forefront of that shift. Adap.tv is clearly a leader, so it was an easy career decision to make.”
Only five months into the opening of Adap.tv’s Southeast Asia offices, Mr. Khan has fast-tracked the company’s presence in the region, and 10 new customers have already signed on to use Adap.tv’s Marketplace and platform technologies.
“Having worked with both Arjan and Tom, I know that we have brought in additional important expertise that will bring greater success to our growing customer base in the market,” said Mr. Khan. “Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing video ad markets in the world, and we are excited to continue educating buyers and sellers of the benefits of data-driven automation.”
