IAB Australia’s Australian Audio State of the Nation Report has found that 90% of agencies have used audio advertising this year, with 83% of media agencies including streaming digital audio advertising as a significant or regular part of their activity. The report, which is in its 8th year, also found agencies plan to increase their investment in streaming audio (61%) and podcasts (64%) over the coming year.
IAB Australia today released the 3rd wave of its Audio Advertising State of the Nation Report. The Report, which covers broadcast radio, streaming digital audio, DAB+ and podcasts, is a truly collaborative industry project with support from 13 different media and technology companies as well as industry body Commercial Radio Australia.
The IAB Australia Audio Council has elected Chris Derrick, Head of Digital Strategy for Southern Cross Austereo, to the position of co-chair, taking up from Rick Gleave who was Council co-chair for the past two years.
