JCDecaux New Zealand has taken the bold step of developing and integrating live Out-of-Home availability into Calibre, New Zealand’s industry wide measurement platform.
This new functionality, built by REACH Media, allows media agencies and clients to plan JCDecaux campaigns with real-time site availability.
It provides certainty to clients that all JCDecaux assets proposed, across its portfolio of Airport, Digital Large Format and Static Large Format, are available to book at the time of planning.
Kurt Malcolm JCDecaux’s Head of Trading & Programmatic said ”Our overarching goal since building Calibre in 2017 was to make the planning and buying of Out-of-Home simpler and more efficient for our clients.
“Launching live availability first in the New Zealand market is a giant step forward in us delivering on this goal. Expect to see us driving towards automating the buying process over the next 12 months.”
Clients and agencies with Calibre logins will be able to see availability when selecting JCDecaux’s assets from 24th May 2023.
In the interim, the JCDecaux Sales team will be organising live demonstrations to take clients through the functionality of JCDecaux live availability.
Mike Harrison, General Manager of OMD New Zealand said “Over my entire career I’ve had countless conversations with colleagues about the time lost to the task of managing Out-of-Home availability through the planning process, so it’s amazing to see JCDecaux New Zealand take the bold move to lead the market in providing availability through Calibre. This will save time and money for both agencies and advertisers and allow better decisions to be made faster.”
