Paul Bridgewater appointed senior sales lead ANZ

pymetrics, a talent matching platform that makes workforce decisions more efficient, accurate and fair, has appointed Paul Bridgewater as its first regional Sales Lead in Australia and New Zealand. It is a newly created position as demand for pymetrics behavioural science and ethical AI workforce technology platform grows in the region.

pymetrics’ platform uses behavioral science-backed games to measure the cognitive, social, and emotional attributes of individuals and a data-driven approach to match them with the right opportunity - based on their potential, not their pedigree.

In Australia and New Zealand, it works with brands including ANZ, Rio Tinto and PwC and has recently seen an uptick in companies seeking to harness its ethical and audited AI-powered insights to drive optimal hiring and internal mobility decisions – as well as eliminating the type of inherent bias that leads to gender, ethnic and socio-economic inequality.

Commenting upon his appointment, Paul Bridgewater ANZ Sales Lead for pymetrics, noted:

“Organisations in ANZ are beginning to understand they need to reimagine their talent acquisition and retention practices in order to drive genuine workplace transformation, true diversity and better prepare for the future of work. Paul will be responsible for developing and expanding our ANZ footprint and thought leadership, revenue and best practice across the region.”

Paul has over 20 years of senior leadership experience, most recently spending four years at talent acquisition and engagement platform LiveHire as Head of Partnership and Alliances and Head of Recruitment Solutions. Prior to that he spent over seven years in a variety of roles at ManpowerGroup including as General Manager. He was previously Managing Director of Arriba Group and holds a BA Honours degree in Marketing from Bournemouth University in the UK.

Paul added, “I’m looking forward to working with ANZ organisations to help them better identify core employee traits such as digital potential, resilience, agility and adaptability, as well as enabling them to make hiring and internal mobility decisions which are free from inherent bias.”
