The API Developer Zone delivers the next level of usability for Symbio’s service offering, providing a rich set of telecommunications capabilities that can be seamlessly integrated into any software application.
Symbio’s API Developer Zone has been designed to reduce the cost and time retail service providers spend connecting their systems to a carrier. Now they can integrate Symbio’s suite of telecommunication centric APIs into their customers’ own innovative applications in a matter of minutes, freeing them up to focus on value creation and innovation.
The API Developer Zone facilitates customers to have plug-in service control functionality directly from within their own operations support systems and portals. This means they can manage accounts and create new orders without leaving their own ecosystem.

Current functionality available via the API Developer Zone includes number portability, new number ordering as well as emergency services (IPND) and address updates and local number porting. The enhanced number management functionality makes it easier for customers to manage their numbers and view their inventory. More features will be coming online soon.
