SD-WAN Leader Announces Two New Senior Appointments as Company Accelerates Global Market Expansion
Silver Peak®, the global leader in broadband and hybrid WAN solutions, today announced the appointments of Peter Jaffe as regional sales manager and Rob Coleman as pre-sales systems engineer, to accelerate the company’s expansion in Australia and New Zealand. The two have more than 35 years’ combined IT experience.
Based in Melbourne, Peter Jaffe is responsible for leading the sales teams throughout Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. Mr. Jaffe brings more than two decades of IT experience to Silver Peak, having worked with many diverse organisations in Australia, London, New York and Hong Kong on the development, implementation and support of unified communications.
Prior to joining Silver Peak, Mr. Jaffe spent almost six years as an enterprise account manager for Generation-e, a consulting company specialising in unified communications and cloud technologies/services. Before that, Mr. Jaffe held a number of account management and business development roles with HP Networking and UXC Connect, a Cisco gold partner.
Based in Sydney, Rob Coleman is an experienced professional with over 15 years in the telecommunications and ICT industry. As pre-sales systems engineer, Coleman is responsible for overseeing the technical integrity of new and existing customer engagements and product deployments for Silver Peak.
Prior to joining Silver Peak, Mr. Coleman held a broad range of roles, including solution architecture, implementation, support, project management and people management. Most recently, he was a technical consultant at integrated SD-WAN provider Coevolve, architecting and deploying one of the largest domestic SD-WAN networks in Australia, among many other domestic and international deployments. Before that, Coleman held various roles with Macquarie Telecom and Alcatel-Lucent.
