New agreement extends MNF’s footprint in the government sector
across Australia and New Zealand
MNF Enterprise, a specialist carrier for innovative enterprise communications services and part of the MNF Group, has been selected as a preferred supplier to the New South Wales Government for fixed, inbound telephony and mobile services.
MNF Enterprise was selected to be a supplier to the state government’s Telecommunications Purchasing Arrangements panel. All New South Wales Government departments, advisory entities and agencies are recommended to purchase their communications services from approved suppliers on this panel. The 5-year deal spans a range of services including fixed inbound and mobile services utilising MNF’s unified communications and collaboration solution, UC Connect.
UC Connect is a cloud-based integration tool that enables real-time data filtering, CRM integration, improves productivity and allows teams to be managed anywhere, on any device. It allows staff to manage the one number across multiple devices, and remain connected via voice, HD video or instant messaging on the one platform.
“MNF Enterprise has proven itself in the government space, providing services for government bodies, agencies and wholly owned enterprises across Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales. This new deal is particularly important as it allows MNF Enterprise to provide our UC Connect solution and mobile services to government agencies, providing them with real choice for their telecommunications needs,” said MNF Group CEO, Rene Sugo. “Our expanding footprint in the government sector is a reflection of our strong track record for delivering quality services and the high regard in which we are held within this sector.”
The anticipated value of the contract, to all panel members, is up to $110 million per annum for fixed voice and mobile services.
This agreement with the New South Wales government builds on a portfolio of government wins across Australia. MNF Enterprise already supplies voice services to two large government-owned entities in NSW. In February 2017, MNF was appointed to the Voice Services Panel for the Victorian Government as part of the Telecommunications Purchasing and Management Strategy 2025.
MNF is also the preferred supplier to the Tasmanian Government for the Telephony and Mobile Data panel. The deal, signed earlier this year, spans a range of services including PSTN replacement services and Cloud Connect for Microsoft Skype and Teams, audio and web conferencing, network assurance service, SMS portal, fax and network assurance. The MNF Group has been working with the Tasmanian Government since 2012.
Conference Call International (CCI), a subsidiary of MNF Group was also selected as a provider of unified telecommunication services to the New Zealand government in February this year.
MNF Enterprise currently holds the following government certifications: Victorian Government Telecommunication Purchasing and Management Strategy 2025 (TPAMS2025), Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV), Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA), NSW Procurement ICT Services Scheme, Queensland Government IT&T Procurement Panel and Tasmanian Government.
