MNF Enterprise launches Cloud Connect for Microsoft Skype & Teams

Turn Microsoft Office 365 Skype for Business and Teams into a cloud PBX or UC solution

MNF Enterprise, provider of new-generation hosted communications services and part of the MNF Group, has launched Cloud Connect for Microsoft Office 365 Skype for Business and Teams. Enterprises can complete their cloud migration, transforming their Office 365 into a modern cloud PBX or UC solution by connecting to the outside world via MNF Enterprise’s Australia-wide smart interconnected network.

Enterprises already using Office 365 Skype for Business to call or message co-workers within the organisation can now use MNF Enterprise’s Cloud Connect service to seamlessly make phone calls to any phone number outside their organisation. Cloud Connect bridges a key functionality gap for Office 365 users and eliminates the need for on-premise PBX infrastructure, enabling pure cloud deployment.

“A vast majority of businesses are already transitioning to Microsoft Office 365 cloud infrastructure, but have the limitation that the platform does not natively support external calling. MNF Enterprise’s Cloud Connect extends the solution by providing national and international voice network connectivity for Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams,” MNF Enterprise Solutions Manager Greg Round said.

He continued, “Customers don’t need to pay for a complex on-premise PBX system when Cloud Connect can extend existing Office 365 services in Skype for Business or Teams to provide equivalent level of services. Employees in most companies are already very familiar with the Skype for Business interface and capabilities; we extend on those capabilities to ensure that the one user interface allows them to reach anyone, anywhere, on any device.”

Sacred Heart Mission is the first pilot customer on MNF Enterprise Cloud Connect solution for Microsoft Skype for Business Online and Office365.  Sacred Heart Mission is a non-profit organisation that provides community services, care facilities and operates ‘op shop’ stores across Victoria.

“MNF Enterprise have understood Sacred Heart Mission’s needs and provided advice, support and a solution that aligns to our ICT strategy of transitioning into the cloud,” Gavin More, ICT Manager at SHM said.

“We now have the mobility we need across multiple devices, desktops, mobile phones and iPads with MNF Enterprise’s voice service and Skype for Business. Following the initial pilot, we are now migrating all services and sites to this solution, and porting our phone numbers into MNF Enterprise’s cloud platform.”

MNF Enterprise Cloud Connect solution supports IoS, Android and traditional IP desktop phones whilst enabling users to make and receive voice or video calls within Office 365 using their existing local and toll-free numbers. Skype’s presence technology is extended across all devices.

Standard PBX features such as Call Transfer, Call Waiting, Hold Music, Call Queues and Auto Attendants are available from the O365 phone system connected via MNF’s Cloud Connect Service. Customers can then optionally add audio conferencing and web video broadcast services from O365, or add MNF’s optional cross platform video collaboration, call recording or attendant console packages.

Cloud Connect can extend your cloud phone system into Salesforce CRM and enterprises can optionally take advantage of MNF Enterprise’s advanced call analytics and visualisation tool, Precision Analytics. The tool tracks inbound and outbound calls, and allows managers to analyse voice service usage reports on call costs and visualise call trends.
