AOL has announced the appointment of Stephanie Famolaro as Sales Director Australia and New Zealand, a promotion from her previous role as head of platform sales for AOL Platforms. Her appointment further strengthens the gender balance in AOL’s leadership team in Australia and New Zealand, which includes Nikki Retallick, Head of Data and Attribution APC, and Yasmin Sanders,Senior Director, Programmatic TV.

Given her pedigree in programmatic she is pivotal in driving our business forward in the coming years. Stephanie has worked in the industry since 2012, holding digital advertising roles at Ad2One and Sensis before making the move to Adap.tv which become part of AOL in 2014.
Stephanie, who will continue to be based in Sydney for the role, commented on her appointment, “I am very excited about where the business is going and the opportunities I have to influence this, not only in Australia but globally.”

She has more than twenty years experience, spanning publishers, ad networks and media agencies, as well as ad tech companies including Real Media, Atlas and Microsoft,” added Waters. “Nikki’s role will also see her driving the expansion and regional presence of Convertro, as well as sourcing local opportunities for data partnerships that will enhance the effectiveness of all ONE by AOL offerings”.
