GumGum builds out local team - appoints Aurelien Strippoli as Director of Publisher Development


GumGum, the inventor of in-image advertising and leading digital marketing platform for the visual web, has made two senior hires, announcing the appointment of Aurelien Strippoli as Director of Publisher Development and Shane Hanby, Senior Sales Manager.  The appointments come just a month after GumGum formally launched in Australia with Jon Stubley as VP ANZ and Bauer Media as its foundation client.

Based in Sydney, Strippoli will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and structuring new publisher deals for GumGum across Australia and New Zealand.  Hanby will be focused on driving new business for GumGum in the Australian market,

Strippoli joins GumGum from eBay Commerce Network where he was Head of Business Development. He’s also worked with Yahoo and Air France.  Hanby joins from Salmat where he was Group Agency Manager.
