Adotube and Appsnack join Tribal Fusion and Firefly Video to offer Indian brands a full suite of display, video and mobile engagement solutions
Exponential Interactive, the global provider of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions, today announced the launch of two new audience engagement divisions, Adotube and Appsnack, to deliver in-stream video and mobile advertisingto brands and their agencies in India.
Adotube is an in-stream video advertising solution that delivers interactive brand experiences, designed to achieve maximum impact and optimal user engagement. Each customisable format has been created to best suit the different types of goals and objectives of an advertiser and allows brands to reach a premium global inventory of publishers in an easy and effective manner. - Pre-Roll: similar to traditional TV commercials, they run prior to an online video and can be up to 30 seconds in length and extend the messaging of TV spots to reach users aross multiple devices.
- Ad-Bar: enhances standard pre-roll to provide additional interactive and/or supplementary content to deepen engagement to a qualified audience.
- Ad-Wrap: this allows advertisers to completely surround pre-roll with branded content and engaging interactive (including social media) features.
Appsnack helps brands build rich, engaging, app-like creative experiences that reach audiences at scale across mobile and tablet devices.
- The Snackbar from Adotube is one of the most dynamic, relevant and enaging ad formats available for mobile. It guarantees a 10% share of screen with every impression and upon interaction expands to a full-screen, customer rich-media experience to drive awarness and engagement.

The online video and mobile advertising spend in India is enjoying strong year-on-year growth. According to the the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and IMRB International’s 2013 report, mobile increased from 7% of total spend in 2012 to 10% of total spend (or to spends of around Rs 230 crore) in 2013; online video advertising spend increased from 5% in 2012 to 7% in 2013. The total online advertising market increased from INR 1,750 Cr in 2012 to INR 2,938 Cr in 2013.
