Megaport launches its Wholesale Product, MegaDirect - exclusive to the Megaport Partner Program


Megaport, a leading independent provider of interconnection services today announced the launch of its exclusive new wholesale product, MegaDirect, continuing its significant investment in its Partner Program.  MegaDirect includes a 1Gbps Port and Virtual Cross Connect over the Megaport fabric and provides Megaport Partners direct connectivity to their customers from any major Data Centre in Australia.

The Megaport Partner Program has been tailored to provide a seamless interconnection from ordering all the way to billing the end client. The technology behind MegaDirect is the same as Megaport’s standard 10Gbps offering, all services are self-provisioned and instantaneous, as well as the ability to order and monitor services via an application or web browser.

Partners will be able to connect to a multitude of companies across a wide range of sectors and access to every user on the Megaport ecosystem via a Partner Marketplace which will be launched in the coming weeks. Partners have the option to integrate via Megaport’s RESTful API to provide end customers the ability to connect via the Megaport Partner’s portal or ordering system.

Megaport has made a strategic investment with the establishment of its Partner Program within Asia-Pacific. This includes the development of its Partner marketplace in-house, rolling out the MegaDirect product globally and hiring on the ground channel staff to work on market strategies with each individual partner.

Megaport aims to implement the most connected ecosystem of partners in Australia that will provide Megaport customers the ability to consume any service on demand through meaningful connections.
