Primus Australia launches unlimited international calling to home phones in 50 selected countries around the world

International callers across Australia are set to reap the benefits following the announcement today that Primus Australia, a part of Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc. (NYSE: PTGi), has launched two new calling plans that offer unlimited international calling to standard fixed numbers in 50 countries around the world including China, India, Israel, UK and the USA.  Named “Passport Easy” and “Lingo 50 Countries”, the new plans are available effective immediately.

"Passport Easy” can be added to an existing or new Primus home phone service for an additional $25.00 per month with no minimum contract term.  Lingo is a voice over IP telephony service available to anyone in Australia with a fixed line broadband connection.  Both “Passport Easy” and “Lingo 50 Countries” customers receive unlimited international monthly calling to fixed lines in 50 countries around the world.

“Our new international calling plans are a very cost effective way for anyone visiting or living in Australia to call overseas and they provide a great alternative to the irritation and confusion of purchasing calling cards on a regular basis or remembering to top them up. It also removes the need to enter pin codes every time you want to call overseas. Callers simply pick up the phone and call,” said Andrew Sims, Primus Australia’s General Manager of Marketing and Products.
