IAB Australia tackles ad fraud head-on with roll out of ads.txt

IAB Australia today announces that it has been working with major Australian publishers, agencies and tech vendors to implement ads.txt, a global IAB initiative designed to eliminate counterfeit inventory in the programmatic advertising ecosystem. It also urges the entire Australian digital advertising industry to adopt ads.txt in order to increase trust and transparency in programmatic advertising.

IAB elects Marcus Betschel Chair of Ad Effectiveness Council and publishes first industry work

IAB Australia’s newly formed Ad Effectiveness Council has elected Marcus Betschel, National Head of Strategy & Products at Columbus as Council Co-Chair.  Betschel will lead the council with IAB co-chair, Gai Le Roy working to help Australia’s digital industry identify and refine the best methods to assess the impact of advertising across different activities.

IAB Australia appoints new Director of Regulatory Affairs

IAB Australia has announced the appointment of Kamani Krishnan as Director of Regulatory Affairs.  With ten years’ experience in government relations, legal advice and policy expertise, Kamani will take the lead on policy and regulatory issues facing the digital advertising industry.

IAB Australia engages Jonas Jaanimagi as Executive Consultant

IAB Australia has continued to strengthen its team, announcing today that Jonas Jaanimagi has been engaged as Executive Consultant.  Jaanimagi will provide support for the IAB Technology Council and working groups, as well as driving initiatives including the Ad Portfolio update.

REA’s Libby Minogue joins IAB Board

IAB Australia has announced that Libby Minogue, REA Group’s Executive General Manager of Media and Marketing, has joined the organisation’s board.
